Birthday Card
I am still working on how to take pictures of my cropping projects. Anyways, here’s a card I made for my Mama Ludy…Happy Birthday! Miss you a lot!
I use American crafts (tropical colour, yellow) for the card. It measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. I cut the brown cardstock for layer and stamped it. I also border punch a yellow cardstock using fiskars, threading water. For the heart, i used the cricut doodle charm heart and embossed it. Tie a ribbon for the finishing look. There you go!

I am interested in retro exposure, so i am experimenting with these photos.

An Engagement Card
My scrapbooking buddy, Shannon, came by to visit me the other night to work on a card. It is not common to send an engagement card to congratulate the future bride to be. Shannon received one for her own engagement, but there were not a lot of layouts to get inspired with. Therefore, this was a challenge for both of us. We are not much of card making people but slowly with our joint creativity and effort, we came up with this lovely card…it’s clean, simple and elegant. I love it!
Shannon introduces me to a new craft, by Martha Stewart, called micro beads. That’s the one we used to the ring and the word congrats. The diamond is simply from our silver glitter which looks like the real thing.
I had so much fun creating and helping Shannon with this little project. Until next time.
Scrapping my stress away, one page at a time…

Happy New Year!
I know I am couple of weeks late for my greetings (at least in my blog). Give me a shoutout if I did forget to send my best wishes for the new decade. I am currently trying my best to work on my list. Since it’s becoming a tradition to contemplate about the stuff we left in the old year, here, I am definitely motivating myself to make it a number one priority to keep ahead with my tasks. Sounds large! yeah…I am obsessed with arts and creativity and to a point that I am somehow lost in my stuff and frustrated afterwards that i have “nothing” to really claim fame for…lol!
Well, let’s start it easy…
I didn’t have Patrick or the rest of the family votes to come up with my 10 must do for the year. Afterall, this is my own to do list (take note, you’re reading Haydee’s atelier)
10. Run the 20K marathon. I know! i got my program magnet to the wall.
9. Keep a healthy diet (this is really hard)
8. Go to the gym at least 3x a week
7. Plan a housechore schedule (I am working on it) and stick with it. **note to self** planning doesn’t mean going to lunches with the girls talking about routine house work and b+”*& about it. ;D
6. Make a phone call to family members once a week…Facebook doesn’t work with my mama.
5. Cut down with scrapbooking expenses…ugh! but I need to get inspired with new materials…
4. Keep in touch with friends regularly, (by hosting once a month gathering? stalking them on FB? coffee morning chats, ski day, sms…??)
3. Updating the family website! need to posts the latest photo album in the gallery right away, so no back log.
2. Discipline training to get the list working, learning to be strong will when needed to get priorities done…avoid procrastination!
1. Continue to be a happy mommy, crank up the patience a bit higher, and learn to be thankful for each day’s blessing.
Now, time to work on these things…Go!
XOXO

Gift Wrap
This gift was for Christina’s friend who celebrated her birthday. I used some old paper from my collection and tied a ribbon around it, completely embelished with paper flower from S.E.I. and button. For the tag, i stamped a notecard and cutted it out and for the edge, postal scissors.

When I Scrap, It Rains!
Lately, I’ve been enjoying the sound of the rain and it was a pleasure for once being indoor…I was content with scrapbooking project. I made a 12×12 book for my mother in law’s 64th birthday.
